Window Cleaning in Watervliet

Pollen, road film and hard-water spots build up on outside glass faster than most people notice. We clean the exterior glass, frames and sills on every side of the house, upper floors included, using a water-fed pole and squeegees. You get clear windows without anyone in your family climbing a ladder.

What We Do for Your Windows

We clean the outside of your windows on the front, sides and back of the house. That means the glass, the frames around it and the sills below, where dirt, pollen and dead bugs collect.

Ground-floor windows get a hand wash and squeegee. Upper windows get a water-fed pole that scrubs the glass with purified water and dries without streaks, so we rarely need a ladder against your siding. Spring and fall are popular times, after pollen season and before winter.

We've been in business 5 years, and we're licensed and insured. We treat every house like it belongs to a neighbor, because around here it usually does.

What a Window Cleaning Includes

  1. 01

    A walk-around first

We look at every window with you. If we see cracked glass, failed seals or loose screens, we point them out before we start.

  2. 02

    Exterior glass on all sides

Front, sides and back, first floor and up. Each pane gets scrubbed and rinsed or squeegeed dry.

  3. 03

    Frames wiped down

Dirt and pollen on the frames wash back onto clean glass with the next rain. We clean the frames along with the panes.

  4. 04

    Sills cleared

We clear out the bugs, leaves and grit that sit on the outside sills and wipe them clean.

  5. 05

    Pole work for upper floors

Second-story windows get a water-fed pole with purified water, so the glass dries clear without leaning ladders on your siding.

  6. 06

    Cleanup before we leave

We pick up any debris and drips from your beds and walkways. You get the yard back the way it was.

Signs Your Windows Need Cleaning

  • The view looks hazy

When the sun hits the glass and you see a gray film, road dust and pollen have built up on the outside.

  • Spots and drip marks

Sprinklers and rain leave mineral spots that a hose only spreads around.

  • Sills full of bugs and grit

Dead bugs, seeds and dirt pile up on outside sills and wash down the siding every time it rains.

  • Upper windows you can't reach

Second-story glass often goes years without a wash because nobody wants to climb up there.

  • You want curb appeal before selling

Showings and listing photos look better when the windows are clear and the frames are clean.

How a Cleaning Day Goes

  1. 1

    Free quote by phone

Call us and tell us about the house and how many windows it has. We set a time to come look and give you a free quote.

  2. 2

Walk around and check the windows

We go around the house with you, note any damaged glass or screens, and agree on which windows get cleaned. No surprise add-ons.

  3. 3

    Clean glass, frames and sills

We work side by side around the house, hand cleaning the lower windows and using the water-fed pole up high. Most homes take part of a day.

  4. 4

    Final look with you

We walk the house with you, touch up any pane that needs it and clean up before we pack up.

What Moves the Price

Every house is different, so we price each one after we see it. You get a clear quote with the number of windows spelled out. Here's what changes the number.

Number of windows
More panes means more time. Divided-light windows with many small panes take longer than large single panes.
Height and access
A two-story house or windows over a porch roof take more time and equipment than a single-story ranch.
How dirty the glass is
A yearly wash goes quickly. Heavy hard-water spots or years of buildup take extra work.
Access around the house
Decks, dense shrubs and tight side yards make some windows slower to reach.

Questions We Get

Can you clean just the front windows?

Yes. Some people start with the front of the house, where the street sees it. We can do the front now and the rest of the house on another visit.

Do you clean the inside of the windows?

Our work is the outside of the house: exterior glass, frames and sills. Ask on the call if you have questions about a specific window.

How do you reach second-story windows?

We use a water-fed pole that scrubs the glass from the ground with purified water. It dries clear, and we rarely need to lean a ladder on your siding.

Are you insured if something breaks?

Yes, we're licensed and insured. We also look over the windows with you before we start and point out any cracks or failed seals already there.

Do you work outside Watervliet?

Yes. We clean windows in nearby towns like Troy, Cohoes, Latham and Green Island too. Check our Service Areas page or just ask when you call.
