Permanent Lighting Across Watervliet and the Surrounding Area

We put up permanent roofline lighting for houses in Watervliet and the towns close by. The track stays on all year, you pick the colors from your phone, and the ladder stays in the garage. Tell us where you live and we'll set up a time to give you a free quote.

Where we work

Most of our jobs are a short drive from Watervliet. We regularly work in Troy, Green Island, Cohoes and Menands, and north into Latham, Loudonville and Roessleville. Across the river we cover Rensselaer, North Greenbush and Wynantskill. If your town isn't on that list, ask anyway. If it's close, we'll likely come out.

Being close matters after the install, too. If a section of lights acts up or you want help setting a new pattern in the app, we're nearby and can come back to sort it out in person. That's how we'd want a contractor to treat our own house, so it's how we treat yours.

What we plan for on homes around here

  • Older homes, busy rooflines

A lot of houses in the area have some age on them. Expect wood fascia, aluminum gutters, dormers, porches and rooflines with plenty of angles. We measure every run before we quote, so the price fits your house and the track follows the lines cleanly. Soft or loose trim gets pointed out to you first, before any track goes on it.

  • Cold months

Our winters bring deep snow, ice along the eaves and days that thaw and then freeze again overnight. We fasten the low-profile track close against the fascia or just under the gutter lip, where sliding snow passes over it. The lights are rated for outdoor cold, so they stay put through January and on into spring.

  • Summer storms

Thunderstorms and hot sun are part of summer too. Sealed connections and a firm mount keep water out and the track in place, so a windy night doesn't leave a strand hanging off the house.

  • Outlets, permits and HOA rules

Most permanent lighting runs off an existing outdoor outlet. If your home needs a new one, that part follows your town's electrical rules, and we'll tell you before the job starts. If you have an HOA, check its rules on exterior lighting first. We can give you the track color and placement details to share with them.

  • Controller and wire runs

We find a dry spot for the controller, usually in the garage or close to the outlet. Then we plan the wire so it's tucked along trim instead of draped across your siding.
