Year-Round Home Lighting in Watervliet

Our crew mounts permanent LED lights under your roofline and along your gutters, then hands you the controls on your phone. By day the slim track blends into your trim. At night you pick warm white, holiday colors or anything in between. We serve Watervliet, Troy, Cohoes and the towns around them.

Permanent Exterior Lighting, Start to Finish

Licensed and insured, and in business 5 years now, we keep our focus on one kind of work: permanent lighting for home exteriors. We measure your roofline, mount LED lights in a track matched to your trim, wire them to an app-controlled box, and show you how to use it. The lights we install are backed by a 10-year product warranty. You get curb appeal every night of the year, and no more tangled strands in November.

    Permanent Lighting

LED lights set in a low-profile track along your roofline, controlled from an app for holidays, game nights or plain white light every evening.

  • Technician in a cap and gloves spraying cleaning solution on green-streaked beige vinyl siding, leaving a cleaner section beside a white downspout

    Exterior Soft Wash

A low-pressure wash that kills the green and black growth on siding, trim and soffits, then rinses it away gently.

  • Over-the-shoulder view of a worker spraying treatment on a streaked asphalt shingle roof, with a ladder at the gutter and a tank and pump rig in front

    Roof Treatments

A low-pressure treatment that kills algae, moss and lichen on your shingles, so dark streaks fade and the roof stops holding moisture.

  • Worker in gloves on an aluminum ladder scooping wet leaves from a white gutter into a bucket while a hose wand flushes the downspout on a vinyl-sided house

    Gutter Clearing

We scoop out leaves and roof grit by hand, flush each downspout and check for loose hangers so water leaves your roof the way it should.

  • Technician in a navy cap and hoodie using a water-fed pole to scrub a second-story window on a cream vinyl-sided house with a dark shingle roof

    Window Cleaning

We wash exterior glass, wipe down frames and clear the sills on every side of the house, so your windows look clear from the street and from inside.

  • Worker in jeans and navy sweatshirt pushes a surface cleaner along a concrete walkway, leaving a clean stripe beside stained concrete near front steps and shrubs.

    Concrete & Pavers

We lift dirt, algae and winter salt film off concrete, pavers and stone so the ground around your house matches the rest of it.

A Small Local Crew

We are a small outfit based in Watervliet. We started putting up permanent lighting because we were tired of watching people risk their necks on icy ladders every holiday season. One good install, and that chore is done for good.

We take on jobs we can do well and we stay close to home. When you call, you talk to the people who will show up and do the work. If something is not right, we come back and fix it.

What Sets the Price

No two houses are built the same, so we never price off a chart. The biggest pieces are the number of feet you want lit and the amount of ladder work it takes to get there. These are the things we check on the visit.

We come out, measure, and give you a written quote at no charge. The number you see is the number we work from, unless you ask us to add something.

Length of roofline
Lights are priced by the foot of track. A ranch with one straight run needs far less than a two-story with a wraparound porch.
Height and roof pitch
Second and third stories and steep pitches take more ladder work and more setup time. Easy single-story eaves go faster.
Peaks, corners and gables
Each angle needs its own cut and fitting so the line stays clean. A house with a lot of gables takes longer to do right.
Power and controller location
We need an outdoor outlet near where the run starts. If there is not one handy, that changes the plan, and we will tell you up front.
Zones and extra areas
Some folks want the garage or porch on its own zone. More zones mean more wiring and a bit more hardware.

Why Neighbors Call Us

We work the way we would want someone to work on our own house. Plain answers, careful hands, and a yard that looks the way we found it.

We measure before we quote

We walk the whole roofline, count the peaks and corners, and find your power source. Then you get a written quote with the footage and parts spelled out.

Fastened to trim, not shingles

The track mounts to your fascia or under the gutter edge. We do not nail through your roof, so there is nothing new up there for water to find.

Track that matches your house

We pick a track color close to your trim, so in daylight most people never notice it. At night, all they see is light.

We set up the app with you

Before we leave, we sit down with you and your phone. We set a nightly schedule, save a few holiday scenes, and make sure you are comfortable running it.

We clean up after ourselves

Drill shavings, packaging and wire scraps leave with us. Shrubs and walkways get protected while we work.

How a Job Runs

No surprises, no pressure. Here is what happens from the first call to the first night your lights come on.

  1. 1

    You pick up the phone

Give us a rough idea of the house and the look you want. Then we pick a day to stop by and see it in person.

  2. 2

    We walk and measure

We go around the outside, measure the roofline, check your trim and gutters, and find the best spot for power. You get a written quote you can think over.

  3. 3

    Install day

We protect plantings, mount the track, run the lights and tuck the wiring out of sight. Most of the work happens on the ladder, so you rarely need to be home for it.

  4. 4

    Lights on and app walkthrough

We test every section, then show you the app. You leave with a schedule set and a few scenes saved.

Questions We Hear Most

What will permanent lighting run me?

The two big drivers are the total footage of track and how high up we have to work to mount it. A house with lots of gables, or an outlet in an awkward spot, adds some time too. We come out, take our own measurements and hand you a written number at no charge. You see it before a single light goes up.

Can you see the lights during the day?

Not much. The LEDs sit inside a low-profile track that we color-match to your trim. From the street it mostly reads as part of the fascia or gutter edge.

Will snow and ice hurt them?

The lights are built to stay up all year and handle cold, snow and rain. They sit under the roof edge, out of the way of shoveling and roof rakes. Winter is when most people are glad they did it.

Do you drill into my roof?

No. We fasten the track to your fascia, soffit edge or the back of the gutter line, depending on the house. Your shingles are left alone.

How does the app work?

The lights connect to a small controller near your outlet, and you run them from an app on your phone. You can set them to come on at dusk, pick colors, and save scenes for holidays or game days. We set it up with you before we leave.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every light we put up is covered by a 10-year product warranty. If a part of the product stops working, let us know by phone and we will come take a look and make it right.

Do I need special wiring?

Usually not. Most homes just need a working outdoor outlet near where the run starts. If yours does not have one in a good spot, we will point that out during the quote visit.
